So, this skirt is somewhat pretty, but it is an itchy, stiff rayon crepe. It is not the typical rayon you find in skirts like this. I will definitely have to soften it with something if I"m going to wear it.
As for fit, I"m 5"2" with a 24" waist, and it fit me perfectly, albeit floor length. I would say that 38" might be quite an exaggeration...the waist would be quite tight at that point. I didn"t even need the drawstring to make the waist fit me.
Note that the red stitching is much more pronounced than in the pics. Other than that, the photos are pretty representative of the colors.
